Last year’s schedule was very busy for us. Therefore, we proudly present our last year’s annual report! It gives you a glimpse of the tremendous effort we have made to translate qualified knowledge into action and expand as a forum for political discussion in 2018. Enjoy!
As the last years’ busy schedule and tremendous workload took its toll, Shabka required adjustments inside and outside: Backed by amazing new team members, in 2018, we re-launched a state-of-the-art website, reshuffled our structures, consolidated our key topics and developed a strategic roadmap for the years ahead. Last year we organised 28 events and reached 1100+ people directly.
Our annual report provides a thorough update on these developments as well as on our last year’s operations and performance. It also includes information on our programmes, flagship projects and includes facts and figures. It also gives a comprehensive insight on where we are coming from, were we are at and what we aim at.
As a European strategic Think & Do Tank, at Shabka focuses on foreign, security, development policy and analyses, crisis management as well as civil society engagement. We are combining all of this in one network to facilitate engagement in challenging and complex contexts.
Indeed, during the last years we have grown. Some of our projects have become programs and the world has changed quite a bit. Solid as rock, our approach has remained the very same: Shabka will continue to be a forum for discussion and a driver that translates qualified knowledge into action.
