Mit der „Cooperative Security Initiative“ (CSI) haben das FES Regionalbüro für Zusammenarbeit und Frieden in Europa der Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES ROCPE) und der slowakische Think Tank Globsec eine Initiative ins Leben gerufen, um dringende und zukunftsweisende Fragen europäischer Außen- und Sicherheitspolitik zu diskutieren und neu zu denken. Insgesamt 18 Fragen, welche von einem internationalen Team von Expert*innen erarbeitet wurden, sollen den Raum öffnen, um neue Impulse für die Bereiche Sicherheitspolitik und Multilateralismus zu entwickeln.

Wir möchten wissen, wie junge Menschen sich die sicherheitspolitische Zukunft Europas und der Welt vorstellen. Deswegen veranstalten wir von FES ROCPE, Ponto und Shabka gemeinsam ein “World Café” zu diesen brisanten Fragen.
Im Anschluss lassen wir den Abend mit Speis und Trank ausklingen.

In 6-9 Arbeitsgruppen werden wir einige der 18 Fragen diskutieren und versuchen, diese aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven zu beantworten. Mit eurer Anmeldung habt ihr auch die Möglichkeit abzustimmen, welche Fragen für euch am relevantesten und spannendsten sind.

Veranstaltungssprachen sind sowohl Deutsch als auch Englisch.
Mit der Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung stimmt ihr der Veröffentlichung von Fotos und Filmaufnahmen, die im Rahmen der Veranstaltung entstehen und zur Dokumentation sowie für die Öffentlichkeitsarbeit der Organisatoren verwendet werden, zu.

With the Cooperative Security Initiative (CSI), the FES Regional Office for Cooperation and Peace in Europe (FES ROCPE) and the Slovakian think tank Globsec have launched an initiative to discuss and evaluate urgent and relevant questions regarding a (European) common security policy. A total of 18 theses, developed by an international team of experts, are intended to give new impulses in the field of global security and multilateralism.

We want to know how young people imagine the future of security in Europe and the world. That is why we – FES ROCPE, Ponto and Shabka – organize a “World Café” on these pressing issues.
Afterwards we will have a get-together with some refreshments.

In 6-9 working groups, we will discuss the questions and try to answer them from different perspectives. During registration, you will have the possibility to vote which question(s) are the most relevant and exciting for you – this will be the basis of the discussion in the working groups.

The event will be held in both German and English.
By participating, you consent to the publication of photos and film recordings taken during the event, which are used for documentation and for the public relations of the organizers.
