Shabka took part in a round table discussion between young Belarusian and Austrian thinkers.
Shabka took part in a discussion on Belarus-Austria/EU relations, environmental protection and neutrality organised by the International Institute for Peace IIP in Vienna on 05. November 2019. After an Input by Prof. Heinz Gärtner from the IIP on small state neutrality, the discussions on two parallel round tables were very interesting and circled around the topics of neutrality and sovereignty on the one hand and climate issues as policy challenges. The idea was to identify commonalities and differences in approaches of Austria and Belarus. The round tables on neutrality/ Belarussian-Austrian relations was moderated by Shabka. The main outcomes of two round table discussions were then presented to the rest of the group and discussed.
