We are extremely proud to officially announce our first cooperation with the Slovenian No. 1 peer-reviewed scientific journal – Annales, Series historia et sociologia.
In a refreshing new form of cooperation, Shabka contributed pictures from its frequent travels to the MENA region to the latest issue. Besides excellent and interesting articles it now features exciting pictures! The issue is available here.
Annales publishes original and review scientific articles dealing with social and human topics related to research on the history, culture and society of Istria and the Mediterranean, as well as comparative and intercultural studies and methodological and theoretical discussions related to the above-mentioned fields. The journal is indexed in the Arts and Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI), SCOPUS, ERIH PLUS etc.
The featured images include pictures from our trips to the MENA region between 2010 and 2018 (Syria 2010 & 11, Palestine 2012, Tunisia 2013, Iran 2015, Northern Iraq 2017 and Lebanon 2018). They are a co-production of Thomas König, Lukas Wank, Markus Schauta and Michael Zinkanell – who are all Shabka members.
