Shabkas Co-Director Lukas Wank had the pleasure to be invited to the European Leadership Programme for a deep talk on leadership and Shabka‘s role in giving voice to civil society on a strategy-discussion level dealing with foreign, security and development policy in Brussels on 22 October 2019.
The European Leadership Programme is a Brussels-based program where emerging leaders develop skills through theoretical and practical engagement in n European political, economic and civil life. Through modules, workshops and conferences the fellows increase knowledge on EU issues, leadership, management and – through immersion – better understand and experience the conditions of vulnerable populations.
It was a great talk on the importance of having a human centered approach, an element that is too often left aside in policy making.
