The cooperation between Shabka and the 1989 Generation Initiative is now in full swing!
Shabka, Austria’s strategic Think&Do-Tank at the nexus of foreign, security and development policy & analyses, crisis management, and civil society engagement, and the 1989 Generation Initiative are working together on a event in the Talking Europe serie. At the Bruno Kreisky Forum for International Dialogue in Vienna, on 18/06/2018, the conference Talking Europe – Austria’s regional role will get live!
Can we talk about a bridge-function between Easter and Western Europe?
How does Austria’s engagement impact the situation on the Western Balkans…
…and how does this influence the EU enlargement strategy?
These are only some of the issues that will be tackled during the event that will be closed by a public panel discussion in the evening. Among the experts who will be tackling these issues and discuss with young people from Austria and Belgium the impact that Austria has on its regional neighbors in terms of security and economy are Ulrike Lunacek, Joe Weidenholzer, Stephanie Fenkart, Velina Tchakarova, Predrag Jurekovic, Tobias Spöri, Johann Wolfschwenger, and Valerie Hopkins.
